Job Description

Driving Logistics are looking for LGV1 Drivers for general haulage and Trunking work.

There is also some tramping work available for experienced Tramper drivers.

Work consists of deliveries and collections to and from Wholesalers and RDC's.

Night Trunking will generally be runs from Manchester into South Wales.

There is NO HANDBALLING as everything is forklifted off but at times you may need to use your Pump Truck.

All trailers are Curtain Siders and you would have a maximum of 3-4 drops per day.

Shifts are around 10-12 hours long, always be prepared for longer.

This is a 7 days a week operation with various start times.

You will need to be willing to attend an induction which will consist of a test on the EU Driving Rules and Regulations and possibly a short drive.

This takes around 2 hours.

PAY RATES

  • SATURDAY RATE £24.00 PH
  • SUNDAY RATE £25.00 PH

All LGV 1 Drivers who apply MUST have

  • At least 12 months LGV 1 experience and MUST have driven LGV 1 vehicles within the last 3 months
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Hold a UK driving licence, digital tachograph and CPC card.
  • A good and flexible attitude to work.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism required.
  • Well presented.
  • Good time keeping.
  • Willing to learn.
