Job description

Driving Logistics are looking for experienced, reliable and committed LGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for trunking work in various locations across England & Wales for one of the UK’s largest delivery network providers. Ongoing bookings Monday to Friday plus regular weekend work is available. This is nice clean work.

The work involves collecting from one of your local depots and delivering to a Hub based in the Midlands. We have start times ranging between 11:30 - 20:00. We also have flexible hours, Ad Hoc work and shifts to suit as well. These are fantastic pay rates with good long shift hours so lots of premium overtime rates apply. If you are a driver who wants to work 10-14 hour shifts, this contract is for you.

Pay Rates:

For the first 12 weeks you work there you will be paid on the non-parity rates: Β£20.50ph including holiday pay – Monday to Friday

OVERTIME MON - FRI IS PAID AFTER 8 HOURS WORKED – PAID AT Β£26.00PH (inc Holiday Pay)

Β£25.00ph including holiday pay – Saturday

Β£26.00ph including holiday pay – Overtime Monday to Saturday

Β£27.00ph including holiday pay – Sunday

Β£36.00ph including holiday pay – Bank Holidays

From 12 weeks onwards these are the parity rates you will be paid on:

Β£21.50ph including holiday pay – Monday to Friday

OVERTIME MON - FRI IS PAID AFTER 8 HOURS WORKED – PAID AT Β£28.00PH (inc Holiday Pay)

Β£27.00ph including holiday pay – Saturday

Β£28.00ph including holiday pay – Sunday & Overtime

Β£38.00ph including holiday pay – Bank Holidays

Overtime is paid on all hours past 8 hours per shift at Β£28.00ph

Shift averages are 12 hours. Weekly average pay for 5 days on parity pay = Β£1315 + pw. Weekly average pay for 6 days on parity pay = Β£1630 + pw.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months UK roads driving experience
  • No more than 9 points on your licence
  • Full C+E UK Driving Licence
  • In date CPC and DIGI card
  • Good knowledge of Highway Code, WTD and Drivers Hours
  • Reliability and positive attitude toward work
  • Good level of English
