Driving Force Recruitment is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for Gist in Crewe, offering top rates, and excellent working conditions. Role Overview You will be delivering chilled, ambient, and frozen goods to Marks & Spencer stores. This role involves straightforward cage and tail-lift deliveries — no heavy handball — using modern, well-maintained vehicles from a clean, professional depot. Shift times: * Early starts: 01:00 – 05:00 * Afternoon starts: 14:00 – 19:00 * Average shift length: 10–11 hours * FRI and MON shift pattern (busiest days for the client) Pay Rates * Days: £19.09per hour * Nights: £22.91 per hour * Overtime also available after 8 hours * Enhanced rates available at weekends & bank holidays All roles are PAYE, with holiday pay accrued separately. Requirements * Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence * Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Minimum 12 months’ recent Class 1 driving experience * No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only) Full paid training will be provided once you pass your driving assessment to ensure you start safely and confidently.
