Job: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location : Portbury (BS20)
Contract Type: Ongoing work
Rate: £19.08 to £30.56 P/H (holiday pay accrued seperatley)
Shifts : Days or night - flexible shift pattern
Required: Minimum 18 months class 1 experience required
Driving Force Recruitment operating as an employment business are offering an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers to work for our award-winning client based in Portbury (BS20).
The job will be Distributing for a Major UK Retailer, all runs trunking depot to depot and RDCs. We are offering an ongoing position with a flexible shift pattern to suit the driver.
Rates PAYE (Holiday Accrued)
- Days : Monday to Friday £19.08
- Nights: Monday to Friday £20.37
- Weekend Days : Up to £20.91
- Weekend Nights : Up to £22.56
PEAK RATES - DECEMBER : Up to a extra £8 P/H - Rates from £24.08 to £30.56 P/H
- All start times and shift patterns available 24-7 operation.
- Shift tend to be 11-14 Hours.
- Flexible working pattern - weekends available.
- ADHOC work available to suit.
- Guaranteed a minimum of 45 hours per week.
- The right candidates can run on a 5/6 work pattern if desired.
- Full training provided on completion of assessment
You must be able to pass an initial Day paid assessment which is fully paid at 8 hours; paper work part will include testing your knowledge on working time directive and there will also be a driving aspect to the assessment.
The right candidate will have an enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.
Desired Skills:
Driving License, Digi card and Drivers CPC Card
Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
Good Geographical Knowledge
Minimum of 18 Months experience Driving class 1 in the UK.
Excellent communication skills.
Unfortunately, we cannot use any candidates with DR10 or CD10 on your license.
A maximum of 6 points on your license. xiskglj
