HGV1 Driver Trunking, Day and Night drivers required (flexible with preferred start times).

Location: Avonmouth (BS11)

PAYE: £16.50 - £21.00 P/H (holiday accrued)

Contract Type: Ongoing, guaranteed shift pattern (various start times needed)

IMMEDIATE START! (12 Months experience required)

Shifts: Day and Night drivers required any days from Monday to Sunday.

The job will involve distributing refrigerated goods to RDC's on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs. Start times and shift patterns are available to suit the candidate as they run a 7 day operation.

  • Rates:
    • £18.00 per hour Monday - Friday (nights) starting between 18:00-05:45
    • £16.50 per hour Monday - Friday (days) starting between 06:00-18:00
    • £20.00 per hour Saturday
    • £21.00 per hour Sunday

Drivers are responsible for the below:

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the transport office.
  • Maintain records of deliveries, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • CPC and Digital Tachograph trained
  • 12 months minimum experience on HGV1
  • Good level of English communication
  • Must have held an English Driving license for a minimum of 6 months
  • Must not have DR10 or MS90 on your license
