HGV 1 Driver with curtain side experience in Felixstowe urgently required. Immediate starts available. Due to continued growth with a local leading logistics company in the Felixstowe area, we are urgently seeking to recruit for experienced HGV 1 Drivers to fulfil ongoing long-term shifts for a client in Felixstowe.
Please note this position is through our agency and is a long-term contract HGV 1 Driver - PAYE only.
- Day shift - £19.00ph
- Night shift - £21.00ph
- Minimum 10 hours paid per shift.
You must be well presented and have experience as an HGV 1 Driver, having an excellent work ethic, wanting to make a difference to the company you are working for, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be the face of the client whilst driving their vehicles, so they expect professionalism and a can-do attitude whilst remaining within legal limits.
Successful applicants will need:
- Full UK Driving License with C+E entitlement & Digital tachograph card
- Driver qualification card (CPC)
- Proven work experience as an HGV 1 Driver required
- Extensive knowledge of Road Transport & Working Time rules and regulations
Due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to accept applications for this client if you have DD, DR, or IN convictions. Ideally, you will have a clean license but can accept up to 6 points in some circumstances. There will be ongoing roles for those interested.
