Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Packer to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all packed items meet company standards
- Handle materials safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment within the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in packing or picking roles
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment, including forklifts, is advantageous
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experience with quality control procedures to ensure product integrity
