HGV Class 1 Day Driver

HGV Class 1 Day Driver Drivertemps Limited are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day drivers to work with our fantastic and longest serving client. The Role: * Required to drive to and from various distribution centre\’s and client locations * Deliver or collect loads as required and return to the portsmouth depot. * This role involves driving on occasion double decker trailers, so good geographical knowledge is required. Experience & Knowledge: * Held your HGV 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year. * No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions. * Hold a current valid CPC Card (DQC). * Understand and be able to comply with Driver hours and WTD legislation. * Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. * Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements. * Good geographical knowledge of the south of England. * Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from locations as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate. PAYE Rates Monday to Friday £18.00 per hour Saturdays £20.00 per hour Sunday £23.00 per hour Bank Holidays £25.00 Minimum 9hrs with paid breaks Umbrella Rates Monday to Friday £22.00 per hour Saturdays £24.00 per hour Sunday £28.00 per hour Bank Holidays £30.00 Minimum 9hrs with paid breaks What we offer in return: * Paid breaks. * Flexible working. * 24/7 Service from us. * Advanced bookings.
