Job Description

HGV Class 1 Day Driver. Chilled and general.\\nDrivertemps Limited are recruiting for HGV Class 1 day drivers to work with our fantastic and longest serving client.\\nThe Role:\\n * Required to drive to and from one of 3 retail distribution centre's within 2 hours of the depot and general haulage.\\n * This role occasionally involves driving a double decker trailer, so good geographical knowledge is required.\\nExperience & Knowledge:\\n * Held your HGV 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year.\\n * No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.\\n * Hold a current valid CPC Card (DQC).\\n * Understand and be able to comply with Driver hours and WTD legislation.\\n * Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.\\n * Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.\\n * Good geographical knowledge of the south of England.\\n * Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from locations as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate.\\nPAYE Rates\\nMonday to Friday £18.00 per hour\\nSaturdays £19.00 per hour\\nMinimum 9hrs with paid breaks\\nWhat we offer in return:\\n * Paid breaks.\\n * Flexible working.\\n * 24/7 Service from us.\\n * Advanced bookings.\\nIf you are interested in this position and would like to know more, please do not hesitate to apply or contact Drivertemps Limited
