Drivers Today are looking for HGV Class 1 Container Driversto join a busy transport operation based in Walsall, West Midlands.
We're deliberately keeping this advert simple: good drivers, regular work and a transport operation that wants people it can rely on week after week.
The role involves container collections and deliveriesusing Class 1 tractor units and skeletal trailers, with work covering ports, rail terminals, distribution centres and customer sites.

What You'll Be Doing
🚢 Container collections and deliveries
🚛 Driving HGV Class 1 / C+E vehicles with skeletal trailers
⚓ Port and rail terminal collections
🏭 Deliveries and collections from customer sites and distribution centres
🛣️ Local, regional and nationwide runs
📅 Regular Monday to Friday work
🌅 Predominantly day shifts with early starts
📈 Ongoing work for reliable drivers
The Driver We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who turns up, gets the job done professionally and wants to become a regular part of the operation.
You'll need:

HGV Class 1 / Category C+E Licence
-
Driver CPC
-
Digital Tachograph Card
-
Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
-
Professional and reliable attitude
-
Maximum 6 penalty points
-
Previous container experience is highly desirable
Experience with skeletal trailers, ports and rail freight terminalswould be a definite advantage.
