The work involves a mixture of general haulage, trunking and RDC deliveries, primarily using curtain-sided trailers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Driving HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles

General haulage, trunking and RDC deliveries
-
Operating curtain-sided trailers

Completing daily vehicle checks
-
Ensuring safe loading and securing of goods

Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
-
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
-
Representing our client professionally
Essential Requirements
-
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence

Valid Driver CPC qualification

Valid Digital Tachograph Card
-
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience

Good understanding of UK road transport legislation

Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

Good communication skills
