Drivers Today are looking for HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for regular, ongoing work across the West Midlands. If you're an experienced container driver looking for consistent weekday work, plenty of hours and long-term opportunities, we'd like to hear from you.

The work involves container collections and deliveries using skeletal trailers, with runs to ports, rail terminals, distribution centres and customer sites throughout the UK.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll already have container driving experience and be comfortable working with skeletal trailers, ports and rail terminals. You'll need:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 / Category C+E Licence
  • Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous container experience preferred
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • Good communication skills
