Drivers Plus is currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers with experience in driving a curtain sider.
You will be working out of Leeds.
Start times will be at 07:00.
Shifts last around 12 hours.
What you’ll be doing as an HGV Class 2 Day Driver
- The company operate between Monday – Friday.
- Delivering palletised aluminium sheets and steel tubing.
- Delivering to Small and large business. Average of 10 – 15 drops and collections a shifts.
- You’ll be driving a Curtain sider vehicle. No handball required. You will be required to secure your load and strap the curtains.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Day Drivers who has experience driving Curtain Sider.
Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 12 months of experience who have actively used their license for the last 6 months.
It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.
For this role it can be a physically demanding job.
- A valid C License, CPC card and Driver card.
- No more than 6 points on your license.
- A reference from a previous employer to cover the last 2 years.
