Job Description:
HGV Class 1 Night Container Driver
£16.95–£19.00 per hour | PAYE | Night Work | LS10
Drivers Plus are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Container Drivers to work for our client based in the LS10 area.
Container experience is preferred, but training can be provided for experienced Class 1 drivers.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional and reliable drivers looking for regular night work, with ongoing, part-time and potential temp-to-perm opportunities available.
The Role
- £19.00 per hour
- Start times between 16:00 and 18:00
- Shifts are approximately 10–12 hours
- Container work
- Approximately 1–3 drops per shift
- Deliveries to ports, iPorts and warehouses
- Trunking work
- No handball required
- Drivers are responsible for ensuring loads are transported safely and securely

What We're Looking For
We are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Night Drivers who have:
- A minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- A valid CE Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- A satisfactory employment reference covering the previous 2 years
- Good communication skills
- A strong commitment to timekeeping, health & safety and professional standards
- Container experience is preferred but not essential – training can be provided
