Do you have a HGV 1 license and have driven left hand drive in Europe? Are you looking for a temporary summer position hauling music equipment for famous bands or artists? If yes, please do not hesitate to apply!
We are seeking to expand our bank of temporary drivers to work on our European Contract. We provide double drivers to a company based in Hampshire to assist them with the hauling of equipment for tours and festivals across Europe for well-known bands and artists. The tours can be anywhere between 4 days and 2 weeks in length.
As a guide, an example itinerary may be:
- Day 1 – Fly out
- Day 2 – Rest during the day
- Day 3 – Complete drive and rest
- Day 4 – Fly home
On longer tours, you will have additional rest days and repetitions of Day 2 and 3. You will be put up in hotels for your rest periods. You will be paid for every day of the tour regardless as to whether it is a Drive/Rest/Travel Day.
Ideally, you will have some experience of driving in Europe – either in a Left or Right hand drive vehicle; however, we can provide assessments for those who have not done this. For insurance purposes, you must be over twenty-five years old and have held your HGV 1 license for over 2 years, which must include relevant driving during this period.
PAYE/Umbrella Drivers all welcome to apply. The rate for Umbrella is £205 per day. The rate for PAYE RUH is £200 per day (which includes a night allowance payment of £34.90 – tax free). Expenses for travel will be covered, but you will be expected to pay for your own food and drink (although hotel bookings often include breakfast).
We are looking for drivers to start June 2026 and work up until August/September 2026. Please ensure you send us your CV and one of our consultants will give you a call at a convenient time to go through the job details and our registration process.
