We are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 experienced driver to join our clients Service Department team based in Reading.

Shift: 6:00pm to 03:00am Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on HGV vehicles.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Perform tests using a HGV roller brake tester machine to check and ensure all the brakes meet DVSA standards for all vehicle booked in for repairs, MOTs etc. (Full training to be given)
  • This role will be onsite but on the odd occasion you might be asked to road test or deliver a vehicle if required.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide assistance and support to other members of the workshop team as required.

Pay Rate: £22.00ph (Rate inclusive of Holiday) Paid Weekly.

  • Full valid driving license HGV Class 1.
