Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 1 Drivers for their clients in Washington. There are various positions available:
- Day shift drivers
- Night shift drivers
- Tramper drivers
Hours of work:
- Days - Am
- Nights - Pm
- Monday to Friday OR adhoc work available to work around you
Minimum of 8 hours paid per day.
Salary:
- Days - £13.38 per hour (£15.00 with holiday pay accrual)
- Nights - £14.27 per hour (£16.00 with holiday pay accrual)
- Nights out - £27.50 - £40.00 per night depending on client
The Role:
- Class 1 work
- Fridge work available
- Curtain sider work available
- General Haulage work available
- Trunk night work box trailer available
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To complete deliveries in accordance with time scale.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
- To comply with health and safety at all times.
- Able to maintain good working relationships.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid licence
- Must be over 21 due to insurance stipulations
- Good communication skills
- Good customer relations
- No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
