We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client's company based in Chessington. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of flooring materials to residential and commercial customers, as well as supporting warehouse operations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver flooring products across London and surrounding areas
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and deadlines
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points, representing the company in a professional manner
- Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, and stock organisation when not on deliveries
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and returned promptly
- Adhere to all road transport regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a similar driving role (multi-drop experience preferred)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy flooring materials
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
