Drivers Direct are recruiting forClass 1 /HGV 1/CE day/tramper driversfor our client based in Rawcliffe for 8 weeks.
Whats on offer?
- Monday to Friday day shifts.
- Guaranteed minimum 8 hours per day = £136 per day including holiday pay!
- Possible tramping opportunities for interested drivers though not essential.
- Pay inclusive of holiday pay is£17 per hour (£15.16 per hour and £1.84 holiday pay per hour)
- Example pay £17p/h x 50 hours = £850 including holiday pay + £100 if tramping!!!
- £25.00 per night if tramping (tax free)
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
- Deliver goods to specified locations, maintaining schedules and adhering to delivery protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- For insurance purposes you must have held your C+E Classification for a minimum of 1 year, with no bans or major endorsements (IN, DR, DD) and no more than 6 points showing.
