Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit several Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in Whitchurch.
Rates: £17.00-21.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
The Role: Refrigerated vehicle work (HGV Class 1). Up to 3 drops and collections per shift. Paid induction required prior to starting. Nights out optional.
Days/Nights/ Weekends Shift Times:
- Day Shifts: Start times between 03:00 - 08:00.
- Night Shifts: Start times between 16:00 - 20:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are carried out safely and professionally.
- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and hand it in at the end of each shift.
- Provide excellent service and maintain good customer relations.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence for at least 1 year (insurance requirement).
- Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- No points if less than 2 years on Licence (no DR, IN, or DD endorsements).
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- A safe and responsible driving record.
