Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV 2 trunking/multidrop driver on behalf of our clients in the Sheffield area.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts 0500/0600hr starts
- Night shifts 1800 starts
Salary:
- Ranging from £14.57p/h + £1.43p/h Holiday Pay (Paid up front) to £15.16p/h + £1.84p/h Holiday Pay (Paid up front) on days
- £16.06p/h + £1.94p/h Holiday Pay on nights
- Minimum 8 hrs pay per shift.
- Paid weekly.
The Role:
- Delivery of various products depending on client.
- Multidrop or trunking
- No nights out
- Some handball – depending on clients
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence.
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
