Drivers Direct are looking to recruit aClass 1 and 2 Tramper driversto work inBarnsley.This will be Monday to Friday and will beongoing work!!!

Whats on offer?

  • Class 1 = Pay Rates from £17 per hour (£15.16 per hour and £1.84 holiday pay per hour)Example take home pay=50 hours X £17.00 + £100 (nights out) = £950.00
  • Class 2 = Pay Rates from £16 per hour (£14.27 per hour and £1.73 holiday pay per hour)Example take home pay=50 hours X £16.00 + £100 (nights out) = £900.00
  • £25.00 per night out!!!
  • Ongoing tramping work.

The role:

  • Monday to Friday (nights out Monday to Thursday)
  • Drivers currently doing between 45 and 60 hours each week.
  • Delivery and collection of pipes and drainage products to building suppliers and sites.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
  • Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
  • To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Must hold a validHGV 1 or 2/Class 1 or 2/ Cat CE or Clicence for 1 year plus.
  • Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card and valid Digital tacho card.
  • Have a safe driving record.
  • No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations with no DRs, INs, TT or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
