Drivers Direct are recruiting day or nightClass 1 /HGV 1/CE driversfor our client in Barnsley, Doncaster and Goole.
The role:
- Some trunking roles, some Class 1 supermarket deliveries on days or nights to mixture of stores.
- Some deliveries will be palletised and taken off with pallet pump truck, others may be cage deliveries so may involve handball.
- Guaranteed 5 shifts a week up until Christmas at the very least!!!!
Whats on offer?
- Varied shift patterns on days or nights. Guaranteed 5 per week!
- Weekday day rates£16.47 + £1.99 hol pay =£18.46 p/h
- Weekday night rates£17.39 + £2.11 hol pay =£19.50 p/h
- Saturday day/night rates£19.85 + £2.40 hol pay =£22.25 p/h
- Sunday day/night rates£21.86 + £2.64 hol pay =£24.50 p/h
- Example pay 10 hours per day Weds to Fri + 10 hours Sat + 10 hours Sun = £1021.30 per week inc hol pay!
- Drivers with less than 1 year\’s experience are invited to apply!!!
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 points on licence with no DR, IN, TT etc.
