Category HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Description Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV 1 Container driver on behalf of our client to join their team in LEEDS, LS10. Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday Start times will be from 06.00hr on days Pay: £14.72ph plus £1.78ph for holiday pay (Total inclusive of holiday pay £16.50) The Role: Starting ASAP Ongoing work Container work
Responsibilities
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Container experience required
- Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence for 2 years plus.
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
