Description Drivers Direct Recruitment are recruiting Temp to Perm 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in Castleford. This position starts ASAP. Hours of work: Shifts start at 13:30hr Minimum 8hrs pay per day (Agency) Minimum 40hrs per week (Permanent)
Pay and Hours
- £13.13 p/h plus £1.59 p/h for holiday pay (£14.72p/h all hours total inclusive of holiday pay)
- £525.20 per week based on 40 hrs when permanent / £63.60 holiday pay based on 40 hours per week when permanent
- Total £588.80
- 28 days holidays inclusive of bank holidays when permanent
Duties / Responsibilities
- Multi-drop deliveries to customers
- Deliveries to customers room of choice
- 12 – 24 deliveries per shift
- Some deliveries will entail building furniture
- On the job training will be provided
- All shifts will be working in a 2 person crew
- Carrying out all duties as required by our client
- Ensure all task are completed in accordance with company procedures
- To work with a safe and professional manner
- To complete all work related paperwork (if required) in full as required by the client
Essential Skills
- Must have held 7.5 tonne licence for 1 year plus and had a minimum of 6 months experience
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred but not essential
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Good customer relations
