Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 1 drivers on behalf of our clients to join their teams around the North East.
Hours of work: Day shift. Tramping. Start times may vary in clients. Monday to Friday or adhoc days available too if requested. Minimum of 8 hours paid per day.
Salary: £13.38 per hour (£15.00 with holiday pay accrual).
The Role: Class 1 work. General Haulage.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To complete deliveries in accordance to time scale.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
- To comply with health and safety at all times.
- Able to maintain good working relationships.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid licence.
- Must be over 21 due to insurance stipulations.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
