DDR are looking to recruit an HGV Class 1 Night Driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Bristol. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Hours of work: Night Shifts Monday to Friday, Start time 17:00, Finish at 05:00
Salary: £19.00 per hour.
The Role:
- Driving HGV Class 1 Vehicles
- Delivering on pallets and cages
- Delivering to businesses and other depots (Trunking)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE license.
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Must hold a valid Digital taco card.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
