Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit an ongoing HGV 1 driver on behalf of our client to join their team working out of their site in Doncaster (DN11).
This position is a guaranteed until at least September.
Hours of work: Day and Night shifts available Monday to Friday - weekend shift availability also Days starting 0300 onwards Nights starting 1500 onwards Guaranteed 8 hours per shift minimum
Salary: Mon to Fri Days = £16.50 + £2.00 holiday pay Mon to Fri Nights = £17.50 + £2.12 holiday pay Saturdays = £19.00 + £2.29 holiday pay Sundays = £21.00 + £2.53 holiday pay
The
Role: Ongoing trunking work Trailer swaps involved Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential
Skills: Must hold a valid
HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence with at least 1 years experience.
Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card and valid Digital tacho card.
Good communication skills.
Good customer relations.
Have a safe driving record with no more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations, and no DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
