Job Description
Class 1 Trampers urgently required in Barnsley, Rotherham and Goole.
This will be Monday to Friday and will be ongoing work .
Applicants with less than 1 year on their HGV 1 licence are welcome to apply provided they have at least 6 month's experience of HGV work.
Whats on offer?£16.50 per hour + £2.00 holiday pay (accrued) + £27.50 per night tax free!Example gross pay = £16.50 x 50 hours + £110 tax free = £935.00 with £100.00 holiday pay (accrued or paid up front)Ongoing tramping work out of Barnsley, Rotherham or Goole.
The role: Monday to Friday (nights out Monday to Thursday)Drivers currently doing between 45 and 60 hours each week.
Barnsley: Delivery and collection of pipes and drainage products to building suppliers and sites, with other collection and delivery work once away from site.
Rotherham and
Goole: Delivery and collection of packaging to and from clients, with other collection and delivery work once away from site.
Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures in a safe and professional manner.
To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential
Skills: Be able to work on own initiative Must hold a valid HGV 1/Class 1/ Cat CE licence for at 6 months with at least 6 month's experience.
Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card and a valid Digital tacho card.
Good communication skills and customer relations.
Have a safe driving record with no more than 6 minor penalty points with no DRs, INs, TT or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
