We are actively recruiting Class 2 drivers for general haulage of palletised goods. Whether it's plants, tiles, or boxes, your role will involve handling a variety of materials. This position requires manual handling, and you'll be provided with pump trucks to ease your workload.
Key Details:
- Pay Rate: £16 - £17.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Shift Length: Minimum 8 hours per shift
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Positions Available: Temporary and Temporary-to-Permanent opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Driving: Safely operate vehicles to transport palletised goods
- Manual Handling: Load, unload, and secure items such as plants, tiles, and boxes
- Equipment Use: Operate pump trucks provided by the company (Some items may be forklifted off)
- Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and company protocols
- Customer Focus: Ensure shipments are handled with care and delivered on time
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 driving licence, CPC and DigiTacho
- Experience in handling palletised goods and manual handling
- Ability to operate handballing equipment efficiently
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with transport regulations
- Flexibility to work temporary shifts with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate
