The Role
This is a flexible, mixed HGV Class 1 driving role covering both day and night shifts across a variety of client operations. Work is varied and may include trunking, distribution, and general haulage depending on client requirements. Ideal for an experienced Class 1 driver who wants variety in their work and the freedom to manage their own availability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating articulated HGV vehicles across day and night shift assignments
- Trunking, distribution and mixed haulage work depending on client needs
- Safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers where required
- Securing loads and ensuring full compliance with transport regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks before every shift
- Completing electronic and paper-based documentation as required
- Following driver hours, WTD, and company safety procedures
- Representing Drivers Connect LTD professionally across all client sites
