The role as an HGV Class 2 driver will include:

Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job.

Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.

Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team

Ensuring the load is strapped down

Driving a Class 2 Lorry to and from their customer locations

Handballing maybe required – no dirty work

Liaising with Customers

Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts

Effectively managing your driving time so that you don’t acquire infringements.
