Looking for van driving work in South Devon that isn\’t multi-drop parcels?
Driver Hire/dh Recruitment (Torbay) is recruiting van drivers to support a variety of local businesses across Newton Abbot, Totnes, Paignton, and Torquay. You\’ll be operating 3.5T vehicles on flexible assignments – from ad-hoc shifts to regular, ongoing work.
This role suits experienced van drivers or anyone with a clean Cat B licence who\’s confident behind the wheel and happy doing a bit of lifting. Whether you\’re looking for part-time hours or full-time availability, we\’ll work around you.

What you\’ll be doing:
Driving 3.5T vans for clients across South Devon
Start times typically between 04:00 and 09:00
Shift until deliveries are complete – no crazy targets, no parcels
Staying in touch with our transport team throughout the day
Following all road safety and delivery procedures
What you\’ll need:
A full UK Category B driving licence
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
Physically fit and happy lifting/loading where needed
Reliable transport to get to and from the depot or customer site
A working mobile phone to receive shift info
