Job Description
You will be responsible for completing palletised deliveries using a Class 2 HGV vehicle. Due to the nature of the load, a valid ADR qualification is occasionally required. Work is carried out during the day, with regular hours and overtime available once contracted hours are completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) HGV
- Completing palletised deliveries safely and efficiently
- Complying with ADR regulations at all times
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Adhering to tachograph, driver hours, and road safety legislation
- Representing the client and Driver Hire professionally
Requirements
Essential:
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid ADR certificate
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous HGV driving experience
Desirable:
- Experience with palletised deliveries
- Good knowledge of South Devon routes
- Strong customer service skills
