Overview
We are looking for reliable Class 2 Refuse Drivers to work with a well-established waste and recycling service in Kingsbridge. This is a physically active driving position, combining vehicle operation with hands-on collections. It offers regular shifts, competitive pay, and the possibility of moving into a permanent contract for the right people.

Kingsbridge, Devon (Within easy reach of South Brent, Totnes, Paignton, Plymouth, and surrounding South Devon towns)
Salary
£17.37 – £26.06 per hour (PAYE Advanced). Alternative payment methods also available
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Category C (Class 2) refuse and recycling vehicle on designated routes
- Assist with the collection, loading, and unloading of waste and recycling bins
- Liaise with depot staff for daily route instructions and updates
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Follow all health and safety guidelines on and off the road
Qualifications
Essential
- Valid Cat C (Class 2) driving licence
- CPC and digital tachograph cards
- Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, IN endorsements)
- Physically capable of handling bins and containers
- Own transport to travel to depot
- Mobile phone for receiving route/schedule information
Desirable
- Prior experience in waste collection or multi-drop driving
- Strong knowledge of South Devon routes and areas
