Have you recently completed your HGV test and are seeking your first professional driving position?
We offer a full-time Class 2 driver position in South Devon, which includes two weeks of paid, hands-on training to ensure your immediate success. You\’ll start as a driver\’s mate alongside a seasoned Class 2 driver, then switch seats once you\’re confident and ready to go solo.
This is a permanent role (starting temp with Driver Hire/dh Recruitment) with a well-established local business that rewards excellent drivers with long-term stability, modern vehicles, and a strong team culture.

What you\’ll be doing:
Making local deliveries to regular customers
Handling and securing goods safely (some manual handling involved)
Managing paperwork, taking occasional payments
Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy
Helping out in the warehouse when needed
Always putting customer service and safety first
You\’ll need:
A valid Category C (Class 2) licence
Up-to-date CPC and Digi Card
No more than 6 points – sorry, no DR, DD or IN endorsements
A good level of fitness – you\’ll be in and out of the cab a lot
Your own transport to get to and from work
