Position: HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver

Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: £22.05 per hour

DriverForce UK are seeking experienced HGV 2 Moffett Drivers for our client based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Temp to perm opportunity available; temp salary is £22.05 per hour, starting perm salary is £36,500.00.

Duties include:

  • Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances
  • Load and unload building materials
  • Follow traffic laws and regulations
  • Inspect lorries for mechanical issues and safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate driving logs
  • Communicate with dispatchers and team members

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience as a Moffett Delivery Driver within and around London, Home Counties would be ideal.
  • Ability to drive various types of lorries, including flatbeds & curtain-side
  • Excellent driving record with a valid HGV driver's license & Moffett Certificate or Forklift Certificate (can be converted to cover Moffett with training) to include full driver CPC, minimum of 2 years experience would be advantageous.
  • Due to insurance requirements, the minimum age is 30 years.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good physical condition for loading and unloading cargo & assisting in warehouse when needed
