Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £22.05 per hour
DriverForce UK are seeking experienced HGV 2 Moffett Drivers for our client based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Temp to perm opportunity available; temp salary is £22.05 per hour, starting perm salary is £36,500.00.
Duties include:
- Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances
- Load and unload building materials
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect lorries for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience as a Moffett Delivery Driver within and around London, Home Counties would be ideal.
- Ability to drive various types of lorries, including flatbeds and curtain-side.
- Excellent driving record with a valid HGV driver's license and Moffett Certificate or Forklift Certificate (can be converted to cover Moffett with training) to include full driver CPC, minimum of 2 years experience would be advantageous.
- Due to insurance requirements, the minimum age is 30 years.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition for loading and unloading cargo and assisting in the warehouse when needed.
