Position: HGV 2 Driver
Shifts: Days 07:00 start
Location: Dagenham
Pay: Β£20.00 per hour
DriverForce are seeking experienced HGV 2 drivers for our client based in Dagenham for temporary work
You will be responsible for undertaking deliveries which generally is up to 8 per day.
You will need to have 2 plus years HGV 2 Driver experience along with multi drop experience and be reliable, with a flexible, can do approach.
Please note there will be some manual handling so you will need a reasonable level of fitness.
Requirements:
- Full LGV C (Class 2) licence holder
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence
- Driver CPC qualified or Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digi Tacho Card
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of deliveries so a reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Comply with company procedures and transport regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of customer care during deliveries.
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills at all levels towards both customers and colleagues
- Previous multi drop experience is required
