This role sits within the Vehicle Services Quality Centre of Excellence and is responsible for leading quality assurance and standards across vehicle testing operations. The postholder acts as a subject matter expert (SME), leads a team of Technical Quality and Standards Officers, and works with operational leaders to drive continuous improvement, maintain testing standards, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery to customers.

  • Coordinating and delivering quality assurance activity
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance
  • Providing coaching, mentoring and development support to managers and operational colleagues
  • Analysing quality data and managing consistency and H&S risks
  • Support the leadership team to shape and run the Quality Centre of Excellence

About You:

  • Experience of working with others, giving feedback, supporting, and coaching
  • The ability to interpret data and provide analysis and information based on the data
  • Experience of partnering with leaders and providing testing quality expert advice and guidance
  • Extensive experience, knowledge, and full accreditation in Commercial Vehicle Testing schemes

Licences:

Applicants are required to hold a full and current driving licence.

Qualifications:

Applicants are required to hold a vocational related qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair at level 3 or IMI ATA registration at diagnostic technician level or IRTEC registration at advanced technician level or Engtech registration. You will be required to provide evidence that you hold any essential qualifications and licenses at some point during the recruitment process. If you cannot provide evidence, your application will be withdrawn.
