Diales UK is seeking to recruit an experienced Quantum professional to join our growing team in Glasgow, Scotland.
Key duties will include:
- Detailed analysis of documents related to costing, claims, and other relevant information for major disputes.
- Preparation of claims and/or defence documents to litigation/arbitration standards.
- Supporting the delivery of commissioned services in line with client briefs.
- Contributing to marketing and business development of the company’s services across a broad client base.
- Assisting with the preparation of expert reports for dispute resolution proceedings.
Experience and knowledge required:
- 15 years’ experience in the building or civil engineering industry.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Post-graduate qualification such as MSc in Construction Law and/or a relevant professional qualification is preferred.
- Experience in preparing and defending claims.
- Exposure to dispute resolution methods like adjudication or mediation.
- Experience assisting quantum experts.
- Experience in business development, marketing, and networking.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
