About the Role
The Client are currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of white goods (washing machines, dishwashers, fridge freezers) to high-street stores rather than large distribution centres. This is a versatile role requiring a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliveries: Safely transport white goods from the depot to various customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate arrival.
- Loading/Unloading: Handle products with care using specialized equipment (trolleys/straps). Note: You will generally be single-crewed, though a second person will be provided for heavier goods.
- Vehicle Safety: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks; maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational status.
