Location: Crick, Northamptonshire

Salary:

  • Monday To Friday: £18.00 (Holiday accrual £20.17, Holiday included £23.73 Umbrella)
  • Saturday: £20.00 (Holiday accrual £22.41, Holiday included £26.37 Umbrella)
  • Sunday/Bank holidays: £22.00 (Holiday accrual £24.65, Holiday included £29.01 Umbrella)

Job Type: Contract - Ongoing

Shifts: Early mornings - 00:00 - 02:30 starts

Shift availability: Friday to Tuesday or Saturday to Wednesday with additional overtime available.

The role:

Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) to work on an ongoing basis for RXO on the Costco contract based at Crick, Northamptonshire.

Duties for the Class 1 Driver (HGV/LGV):

  • 1/2 Trunks per day to Costco stores with a possible collection on return from one of their suppliers.
  • This is purely a driving role as the vehicle is security padlocked and only opened by store staff when arriving at the destination.
  • The only time a driver is expected to help with loading will be at one of the Clients' customers. All other sites will load the vehicle themselves.

Average hours for the Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) are 10-12 per day. However, weekday hours can be longer in busy periods.
