This is purely a driving role as the vehicle is security padlocked and only opened by store staff when arriving at the destination. \The only time a driver is expected to assist with loading will be at one of the client's customers. Average hours for Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) are 10-12 hours per day. Weekday shifts may be longer during busy periods, while weekend shifts can be shorter. The Class 1 Drivers availability is taken the week prior, and shift times are texted out daily by 9:00/9:30am the day before.
