- PM Shifts Monday - Friday: 16:00 - 18:00 starts
- Night Shifts Monday - Friday: 21:00 - 23:30 starts
- Early Morning Shifts: 00:00 - 03:00 starts
Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) to work on an ongoing basis for RXO on the Costco contract.
Duties include:
- 1-2 trunks per day to Costco stores, with a possible collection on return from one of their suppliers.
- This is purely a driving role as the vehicle is security padlocked and only opened by store staff when arriving at the destination.
- The only time a driver is expected to assist with loading will be at one of the client's customers.
Average hours for Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) are 10-12 hours per day. Weekday shifts may be longer during busy periods, while weekend shifts can be shorter.
The Class 1 Drivers' availability is taken the week prior, and shift times are texted out daily by 9:00/9:30am the day before.
This contract does not employ permanent staff; therefore, all Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) are supplied through the agency.
The client offers a yearly driver bonus recognition scheme for all Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV), which is paid annually at Christmas.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 shifts in a calendar month
- Zero 'No Shows' (failure to attend a confirmed shift)
- Zero tachograph infringements covering Driving Hours & WTD
- Drivers who complete 12 months service and remain employed in December, while meeting all qualifying criteria, will receive £600 in high street vouchers.
In order to place you into work for this position, registration at our office will be required.
