Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers to work on an ongoing basis for our client based at Magna Park, Leicestershire.
Job Role Will Include:
- Average drop 1 - 3 deliveries/collections per shift.
- Day shift 7 days a week operation. Full-time vacancies available.
- Overtime is available.
- 10-12-hour shifts on average; however, it is possible to complete a 15-hour day.
- Curtain side & Refrigerated vehicles.
- Delivery to RDCs throughout the UK.
- Mostly driving; however, there will be a requirement to assist loading & unloading if required by the Clients Customers with the use of a pump truck.
- Complete PODs & return them to the transport office.
- Ensuring goods are safely secured.
- Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday / Weekends available.
- Start time: 02:00-16:00
Rate of Pay:
- MON - FRI: £14.50 / £16.25
- SAT & SUN: £16.50 / £18.49
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) with a minimum of 6 months experience.
- No more than 6 points on driving licence.
- NO DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions.
- Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria.
- Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and be able to work by themselves or with a team.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
- Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
- Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
