Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) to work on an ongoing basis contract with one of our Clients in Mercia Park.

Class 1 driver (HGV/LGV C+E Drivers) Pay rates:

  • Monday – Friday £17.38 standard hours (06:00 – 20:00)
  • £20.32 unsociable hours (20:00 – 06:00)

All rates are exclusive of holiday pay which the Candidate will accrue separately.

Job description:

  • Handball work – cages, loose items – not heavy.
  • Delivering to Car showroom retailers through the night.
  • Using scanner to POD freight once loaded and delivered.
  • Placing freight into lock ups and storage places using keys and alarm pads to access.
  • Following set route and adhering to “just-in-time” drops.
  • Full compliance with our client policy - use of Sat NAV/Snooper, WTD, Driving hours.

Duties:

  • Safe Work instructions
  • Adhere to our client drivers handbook
  • Full training will be given.
  • Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved.
