Driver Resource Recruitment are looking to recruit multiple HGV C+E Day & Night Drivers on a Temp to Perm basis for our Client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Responsibilities- AM role: Start times between 04:00β08:00. General haulage drops with curtainsider vehicles. Strap / unstrap loads. 1β3 drops per shift.
- PM role: Start times between 18:00β20:00. General haulage drops mixed with some Pets at Home runs. May involve using a Moffett for Pets runs; you will be assisted by a Pets at Home representative who will unlock/lock stores. Unload the vehicle using the Moffett. Strap / unstrap loads. Curtainsider vehicles. 3β4 drops per night.
- Perm salary AM: Β£16 per hour | Β£676.71 per week | Β£35,188.92 per year
- OT rate for extra weekend shifts: Β£18.50
- Β£5 meal voucher per shift
- Perm salary PM: Β£18.62 hourly | Β£746.75 weekly | Β£38,831 yearly
- A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) with 6 months experience necessary
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
- No DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions
- Minimum age 21 years due to insurance criteria
- Good attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Good customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs)
