Location - Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Shifts - 4 on 4 off (OT available)

Start Times - 04:00 - 08:00 or 18:00 - 20:00

An unpaid assessment must be taken before you start.

Driver Resource Recruitment are looking to recruit multiple HGV C+E Day & Night Drivers on a Temp to Perm basis for our Client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

AM ROLE:

  • Start times are between 04:00 - 08:00.
  • General haulage drops with curtainsider vehicles.
  • You are required to strap / unstrap your load.
  • 1-3 drops per shift.

PERM SALARY: £16 per hour | £676.71 per week | £35,188.92 per year

OT RATE FOR EXTRA WEEKEND SHIFTS: £18.50

£5 meal voucher per shift

PM ROLE:

  • Start times between 18:00 - 20:00.
  • General haulage drops mixed with some Pets at Home runs.
  • You will be trained to use a Moffett for the Pets runs and paid £15 per shift that you use this.
  • You will also be manned with a Pets at Home representative who will unlock / lock the stores for you.
  • You must then unload the vehicle using the Moffett.
  • You are required to strap / unstrap your load.
  • Curtainsider vehicles.
  • 3-4 drops per night.

PERM SALARY: £18.62 hourly | £746.75 weekly | £38,831 yearly

£5 meal voucher per shift

What we are looking for:

  • A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) - 6 months experience necessary.
  • No more than 6 points on driving licence.
  • NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions.
  • Minimum age 21 years due to insurance criteria.
  • Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and be able to work by themselves or with a team.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
  • Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
