Contract – Temporary ongoing
Shifts – Monday to Friday (no bank holidays or weekends)
Driver Resource are actively seeking to recruit a Class 2 Driver for one of our Clients based at Castle Donington. Our Client is one of the UK’s largest distributors of leading branded and own-brand medical consumables to all areas of the healthcare market. They offer a range of traditional and bespoke supply chain solutions to meet their customers’ requirements in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Job Duties:
- Start times are 04:00am Monday - Friday for days
- Start times are 20:00 Monday - Friday for nights
- Depending on areas the drops are up to 12 drops.
- Delivering to hospitals and care homes.
- The truck will be loaded for you but you must unload.
PAYE rates for the Driver:
- Mon to Fri £16.00 with holiday accrual
- Mon to Fri £17.93 with holiday included on rate
The successful Class 2 Driver will be required to have the following:
- Valid HGV C licence
- 3 months relevant experience
- Driver CPC qualification card
- Digital Tacho card
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD, DR or IN conviction codes
- Good communication skills
- Flexible attitude
- Ability to learn
This Class 2 Driver role is booked monthly, however some ad-hoc shifts may arise due to sickness.
